Everton are increasingly likely to make a permanent move for Jack Harrison from Leeds United in the coming months, but they will face a high asking price.

Leeds loaned away a large number of players during the summer transfer window after being relegated and then obliged to cope with various loan exit clauses in players’ contracts.

Jack Harrison joined Everton for the season and is already off to a good start, having scored and assisted against Bournemouth earlier this month.

With Leeds’ attitude already known, the Toffees’ aspirations to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis may have encountered a hurdle.

What’s the most recent news on Harrison?

TEAMtalk is saying this week that the Leeds winger has no intention of returning to the second division, and that sources close to the player indicate that the Merseyside club is becoming increasingly desperate to make him a permanent fixture there.

The problem for Everton is Leeds’ attitude on the matter, with the club claiming that they will only sell the 26-year-old winger if the Toffees reach their asking price of roughly £30 million.

Harrison signed a new contract with Leeds in April, during the club’s relegation battle under then-manager Javi Gracia.

Leeds’ viewpoint is correct?
Such a sum appears to be excessive for a guy who was inconsistent throughout his career while putting up decent numbers.

However, the club is correct in demanding a high fee for Harrison, considering that we will want to retrieve as much money as possible for him.

Jack Harrison will not sign new Leeds United deal after having head turned, says pundit

If we are promoted this season, there is no reason why we shouldn’t seek the greatest possible fee, which should be a sizable sum if he stays.

We don’t care if Everton or anyone else buys him, as long as we get the money for a guy who doesn’t want to be here.
