Youri Tielemans has spoken out about his first goal for Aston Villa.
The Belgian midfielder has struggled since joining Villa on a free transfer from Leicester City this summer. Tielemans has battled for starts in the Premier League for Villa, but he has been a regular for Unai Emery’s club in Europe.
And the 26-year-old will have been relieved to have scored his first goal for the Claret and Blues. On Thursday, he scored the second goal in Villa’s 4-1 Europa Conference League win over AZ Alkmaar.

Tielemans’ next chance to score will come against Luton Town at home on Sunday (kick-off: 2pm). After nine games, Villa are fifth in the Premier League table.
