St James’ Park will host another Champions League night this evening, with the two teams walking out to a full stadium spectacle. Wor Flags has written the following message on the back of black and white cards that will be raised in the air after the two teams emerge from the dugout ahead of that show.
‘Dear supporter, I’m sure you won’t be shocked that for our second Champions League home game, we thought another full stadium spectacle was in order,’ reads the statement.
‘Please raise this card above your head when the players emerge from the tunnel to welcome them into a black and white wall for tonight’s game against our yellow wall guests.’
‘Our volunteers have put in hundreds of hours to make this exhibit a reality, so please hold this card up to ensure the design is visible in its entirety.
