Everton finally gets some good news with the unveiling of the Bramley-Moore Dock – Finance Guru
Dr. Daniel Plumley, a football financial expert, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. Every week, he’ll provide his thoughts on the most pressing issues at Everton.

Dan Plumley insists that the selection of Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium for Euro 2028 is a “real positive” for Everton.

Everton confirmed the selection on 10 October, with the new stadium set to fly the flag for the city of Liverpool ahead of Anfield in a big statement. The finance expert admitted that things like this will benefit Everton financially, and they won’t stop there, with other events likely being considered to generate even more revenue.

“It’s what it was designed to do,” he told Goodison News exclusively.

“You’ve got a flagship new stadium, which obviously has benefits for Everton as a club, but part of the strategy there is, of course, if there are any major sporting events that take place in the country like this one, then you’re in pole position to be a part of that as you’re probably the newest stadium on the block.”

“It is a real positive that is being looked at, and as you say, that can create additional revenue streams, but they will also look to other events, other types of revenue generation outside of football.”

“That will always be part of the blueprint for the stadium, as we have seen with Spurs, again setting a new blueprint with their new stadium and what they’ve been able to do with it.”

In other Everton news, fresh Bramley Moore Dock issues may result in further expenses for the Toffees.
