Yunus Akgun suffers another injury as the Leicester City winger limps off during the win over Swansea City.
The Turkish international came in as a substitute shortly after the hour mark but was forced to leave in injury time, but Enzo Maresca did not appear concerned.
Despite limping out of Leicester City’s 3-1 win against Swansea, Enzo Maresca hopes Yunus Akgun will be available for Tuesday’s Championship clash with Sunderland.
The Turkish winger came on as a substitute in the 65th minute but left in injury time, appearing to be clutching his thigh. However, after speaking with him after the game, City manager Maresca felt it was nothing serious.
“I just asked him, and he didn’t feel anything important,” the manager remarked after the game. “It was just something, but nothing major, so hopefully he won’t miss any games or days.” We shall see.”

However, Yunus will need to recover quickly, as the Black Cats visit the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening. City will want to win their eighth straight league game, which would equal the club record.
If Yunus is unavailable, City will be short of two wingers. Kasey McAteer has been out with a hamstring strain suffered a few weeks ago at Blackburn, but he is making progress and is already exercising on the grass at Seagrave, but not with his teammates.
Stephy Mavididi, Abdul Fatawu, and Marc Albrighton would be left on the bench for City. Mavididi and Fatawu would be favourites to retain their places in the team, especially after impressing in Wales and with Maresca yet to give Albrighton a start in the Championship this season.
