The Boston Celtics have renewed their contract with 98.5 FM The Sports Center
The Boston Celtics and 98.5 WBZ-FM The Boston Sports Hub has agreed to a multi-year contract to keep the C’s on the air.

Boston Celtics and 98.5 FM This week, the Sports Hub in Beantown agreed to an extension to keep the C’s on the air.

On X, the site formerly known as Twitter, James Stewart shared a joint announcement from the Celtics and WBZ-FM in Boston.

98.5 The Sports Hub Wraps Up Week On Radio Row In Miami - BBGI.COM

During the Zolak and Bertrand Show today, the Boston Celtics announced a multi-year broadcast agreement with Beasley Media Group’s 98.5 The Sports Hub. Since 2013, the station has served as the official flagship station of the Boston Celtics Radio Network.

Sean Grande and Cedric Maxwell will continue to be the team radio broadcast’s voices, expanding on their more than two decades of collaboration. Aside from the games, 98.5 The Sports Hub will broadcast Celtics-related content throughout the season, including a weekly call-in from Celtics Head Coach Joe Mazzulla on The Zolak & Betrand Show every Wednesday.

The statement also stated that ‘The Celtics Show’ would air every Saturday at 12 p.m., hosted by personalities Jim Murray and Chris Gasper. According to the statement, Joe Murray will be joined by Cerrone Battle for nightly broadcasts.

With this move, the Celtics retain continuity and continue a decade-long connection. It’s not tough to make your followers happy, therefore this was a bold move for everyone concerned.
