Leeds United defender Joe Rodon thinks he is having a good season with the club.
The Welshman has been part of a tenacious Leeds defense that has kept most opponents at bay this season – no side in the Championship has kept more clean sheets than the Whites. Leeds has also allowed the second fewest goals this season.
Rodon’s performances this season have won him over the Elland Road faithful, which he says has helped him acclimate to life at the club:
“I am really enjoying it here.”
“It has gotten better and better for me and the group as the weeks have passed.”
“I feel we are improving week by week and that is important, with the targets and journey we are on, we’re getting better each game and the results are coming our way.”
The 25-year-old is also confident in Leeds’ chances this season:
“It’s a long season with a lot of games, so I’m looking forward to Saturday and hoping we can get three points again.”
“It’s going to be a tough game, as every game in this league is.” It’s a new task for us, but we’re all looking forward to it.”
On Saturday, Leeds United will face Norwich City.
