West Ham United transfer news: Kurt Zouma – Fabrizio Romano
According to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United have yet to be approached by teams in the Saudi Pro League about the possible sale of Kurt Zouma.

According to the transfer specialist’s Daily Briefing column (21 October), a potential transfer for the Frenchman is not “imminent,” and while Saudi teams are frequently enquiring about opportunities, the Hammers have yet to receive a real proposal.

According to reports, the West Ham captain has been courted by clubs in the Middle East [90Min, 12 October], and Romano did disclose that if he leaves the London Stadium, Harry Maguire might once again be a target for David Moyes.

Is Kurt Zouma to West Ham the Premier League signing of the season?

Any decision on the future of the Manchester United defender will be taken “around December,” but the Irons have always rated the England international. Any potential deal, however, would be contingent on financial conditions, given that the Hammers have already invested in their defense with the acquisition of Konstantinos Mavropanos.

There is nothing concrete.

Nothing appears to be happening in terms of Zouma’s future in the next weeks, as initial interest does not appear to have translated into a meaningful bid or even negotiations between clubs in the Saudi Pro League and West Ham.

A move to one of the richest leagues in the world will certainly be appealing for the Frenchman, as it has been for several other players in the previous year or so, but he will only be able to make the move if West Ham are ready to let him leave first.

Zouma has been instrumental in Moyes’ side’s strong start to the season and would be a significant loss if he departed, but in his limited appearances in claret and blue so far, Mavropanos has proven to be a capable deputy and would be able to fill the vacuum left by the former Chelsea defender.

According to Romano’s claim, nothing is written in stone yet, whether it’s Maguire potentially moving to West Ham or Zouma leaving. This appears to be a story that will rumble on until the January transfer window.

The Hammers demonstrated over the summer that they can lose a star player and still be competitive, so there’s no reason why they can’t do the same if Zouma decides to leave, whether in January or in the summer.

In unrelated West Ham United news, Michail Antonio has declined to make a prediction for the Hammers’ match against Aston Villa.
