Hugo Ekitike of Paris Saint-Germain appears to be on a rollercoaster ride. After failing to clinch a move away from the French capital during the summer transfer window, the striker has become an afterthought.

Furthermore, RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins writes that the 21-year-old is on the bench both on and off the field. Last season, Ekitike’s difficult relationship with PSG became clear.

What precisely has Ekitike done to fall out of favor at PSG? Specific figures within the club questioned the young goalkeeper’s performance and attitude.

According to recent speculations, Ekitike’s career may be entering a new stage that will take him away from Paris. AC Milan, who were connected with Ekitike earlier this summer, are leading the race for his signature.

Three Premier League clubs are also interested in signing the Frenchman: West Ham United, Everton, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. During the summer transfer window, the Hammers and Toffees were linked with the former Stade de Reims forward.

Wolves is a newbie to the race. So, once the January transfer market begins, it will be interesting to see which club can grab the player.
