A Leicester City player admits to’something new’ before of the Swansea game.
Mads Hermansen discusses life under Enzo Maresca before of Leicester City’s game against Swansea.
Mads Hermansen, the goalkeeper for Leicester City, said it was “good to try something new” when he joined the club from Brondby this summer.
The 23-year-old joined Leicester in a reputed £5 million deal and has appeared in 10 of the club’s opening 11 league games this season. The goalkeeper believes he has already improved since the start of the season at Coventry, and he is enjoying his progress with the club thus far.
In training, he has been “learning every single day” under the tutelage of Maresca and goalkeeping coach Michele de Bernardin. Those lessons have been translating beautifully onto the pitch, and he will be hoping to continue that against Swansea.

Hermansen expressed excitement for the game, saying, “We’re all looking forward to it.”It’s occasionally necessary to get away, and now that we’ve returned, we all like being here. We’ve got new energy, we’ve had some good rest days, and we’re ready to go.
“The atmosphere has been very positive since I arrived here, even before the season began.” We’re all in a good place and heading in the right path, so we need to keep moving and growing as a team.
“It’s always an honour to defend your country out there but of course I love to be on the pitch, play and be involved, trying to do what I can to help the team, so I look forward to playing again.”
This season, Hermansen has been a revelation for Leicester. The Dane swiftly disproved Leicester’s initial misgivings about the necessity for another goalkeeper. He quickly rose to first choice and has yet to make a mistake this season.
“I feel like I’ve been learning every single day in training and I’ve developed a lot already since the first game against Coventry,” he added. “When you’re in the same place for a long time it’s sometimes good to try something new and develop in some other areas of your game.”
