Newcastle has secured another license agreement, which should increase the club’s global exposure.

Money, as they say, never sleeps, which is why Newcastle United is constantly pursuing new relationships with outside corporations.

The latest company to join forces with Newcastle United is thought to be the Chinese trading card brand DAKA.

Manchester City, Barcelona, and a number of other high-profile clubs have already worked with DAKA to increase their visibility in the lucrative Chinese market.

By working with DAKA, Newcastle has set their sights on the Chinese market.

Newcastle have reached an agreement with the trading card manufacturer, according to X reporter Joel Bland.

“NEW: #NUFC has signed a new licensing agreement with trading card company ‘DAKA.'” This collaboration falls under the club’s ambitious international branding goals, which aim to boost their profile in China.”
Other news sites have confirmed what Bland claimed.

Newcastle has yet to formally announce the DAKA or Saudia partnerships.
According to inews, the agreement was reached last week, with a source informing the paper:

“That is typical of the type of market in which we are now looking to operate.” There has been a shift in emphasis, and we now intend to compete with the best.”
After a cryptic tease on social media yesterday, the club has yet to formally announce the arrangement and is still waiting to announce the cooperation with Saudia.

Newcastle is clearly doing everything possible to ensure that the company maximizes its revenue potential in order to make FFP less of an issue in the future.
