When Michel Rablat leaves Everton, Habib Bamogo fills the position at Goodison Park.

According to Patrick Boyland, Michel Rablat, the club’s French recruitment lead, has resigned from his position at Everton.

The journalist revealed in a piece published on The Athletic website on Friday (13 August) that the Frenchman’s former teammate Habib Bamogo will assume additional responsibilities after his departure.

He added that Nathan Fisher and Phil Boardman, who is expected to join the Toffees from Portsmouth, will collaborate with the former Burkina Faso and Marseille attacker.

Over the upcoming weeks, it appears that there will be a lot of activity in Everton’s scouting division behind the scenes.

One of Rablat’s finest contributions to the Toffees was his role in securing the £33 million transfer of Amadou Onana from Lille in the summer of 2022.

The Blues are likely to have a quality midfielder on their hands for years to come or make a healthy profit on any prospective sale after the Belgian international established as a vital player under Sean Dyche.

In order to continue Rablat’s work in France and identify some elite performers who might succeed in Merseyside during the next years, Bamogo will try to do so.

Due to Boardman’s prior work at Wolves as head of performance analysis, the club’s concentration on a data-based approach to recruitment is anticipated to strengthen with his expected arrival as a European senior scout.
