Revealed! Every Newcastle United player’s contract length has been announced following a double deal – gallery.
Newcastle United just announced two substantial contract extensions for key players at the club.
Newcastle have announced that Dan Burn has signed a new contract until June 2025, after the news of Bruno Guimaraes’ new five-year term last week.
The Magpies also have some key players who will be out of contract at the conclusion of the season as they attempt to sign more players to new contracts. Sean Longstaff and Joelinton, both midfielders, have been linked with new contract discussions.
Burn informed the Newcastle club website following his new contract agreement: “Burn said: “It means everything to me to play for this club and to sign a new deal.” When I signed, I stated that I didn’t want this to be a’stop-gap’ contract to keep us going – I wanted to be here for a long time.
“So signing this one feels even more like an accomplishment to me than signing here in the first place.” I’m overjoyed and looking forward to the next few seasons.”
