Yunus Akgün, who joined Leicester City on loan from Galatasaray last summer, has continued to impress.
Enzo Maresca, Akgün’s manager, has lauded him as a versatile player who can play as a winger or an offensive midfielder.

Maresca has stated that Akgün has “a lot, a lot, a lot more” to offer the team.
“He is a winger who loves to come inside so we can think to use him as an attacking midfielder,” stated the Spaniard.
“He can do more,” Maresca stated earlier this week. “He’s adjusting very well.” He assisted us against Liverpool and Blackburn. He wasn’t at his best when he arrived, but he’s improving. Without a doubt, he can give us much, much, much more.”
“In my opinion, he’s more of an inside player than a winger.” He has to play as a winger at times. But he’s more of an inside player to me than a winger.”
Akgün has appeared in eight official matches for Leicester City, starting four of them. In 336 minutes on the field, he has contributed two assists.
Akgün did not get much playing time at Galatasaray under manager Okan Buruk previous season, but he flourished at Adana Demirposr under Vincenzo Montella and his then assistant Maresca.
Yunus Akgün is clearly a talented player with a lot of promise. He is still young, but he is making his mark in the English Premier League. It will be interesting to see how he progresses over the next few seasons.
