Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is expected to score twice for Leicester City against Preston North End on Wednesday night, according to Tom Cannon.

PNE arrived at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday evening with few expecting Ryan Lowe’s men to win.

Before Kieran Dewsbury-Hall opened the scoring on the hour mark, North End were steady and looked dangerous when breaking forward.

Leicester won comfortably thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho’s second goal and Dewsbury-Hall’s third.

Leicester will dominate most teams this season, so PNE’s defeat is not surprising, but playing so beautifully for an hour and then falling apart was frustrating.

The forecast of Tom Cannon comes true.

North End did not have to face Tom Cannon on Wednesday night.

On transfer deadline day, the former PNE loanee signed a permanent deal with Enzo Maresca’s Leicester City.

Cannon had been a fan favorite while on loan at Preston North End and was generally anticipated to return until Leicester pounced.

PNE supporters would have been worried about facing Cannon, but the striker is presently out with a back injury and has yet to make his Leicester debut.

The fact that Leicester can spend millions on Cannon and not be adversely affected by his immediate injury demonstrates the disparity between the Foxes and North End.

Cannon did, however, make a prediction prior to the game, according to Foxes teammate Dewsbury-Hall.

Dewsbury-Hall claimed on Instagram that Cannon told him before the game that he’d score twice against North End.

That proved true, with Dewsbury-Hall scoring twice in the second half to condemn North End to their second defeat in as many days.
